This notice describes how ComfyLearn (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit our site, create an account, learn from a course, publish course materials, contact us, or use an AI feature. It is intended as a clear overview, not a substitute for the rights granted by applicable law.
ComfyLearn operates the Services at https://comfylearnhub.com. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact support@comfylearnhub.com. If we appoint a data protection officer or representative where required, their current details will be published here or supplied on request.
We use information to operate accounts and courses, provide creator and learner features, process requested transactions, answer support requests, secure the platform, prevent abuse, and maintain required records. Depending on the specific processing and applicable law, a lawful basis may be contract, consent, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or a legal obligation. We will request consent when it is the appropriate or legally required basis; silence or inactivity is not treated as consent.
When you use Atina or another AI-enabled feature, your prompt and limited course context may be sent to ComfyLearn and service providers that help generate the response. Those providers may process data under their own contractual and privacy terms. We aim to share only what is reasonably needed for the feature and to apply access and security controls.
We may, in the future, use chat content to train or improve models. This is a possible future purpose, not a blanket permission overriding data-protection law. Before starting it, we will provide a specific notice explaining the data, purpose, retention, recipient categories, and available choices; identify and document the lawful basis; and obtain consent where required. Where applicable, you may object, withdraw consent, or exercise other rights. Do not put passwords, payment-card details, sensitive personal data, or another person’s confidential information into a prompt.
Atina’s responses may be inaccurate. AI-generated characters and avatars are fictional and wholly synthetic, are not human beings or based on real people, and are not designed to resemble or impersonate any real individual.
We may share information with hosting, authentication, payment, email, analytics, security, and AI service providers where needed to operate the Services; with course creators or learners as required for course features; or with authorities and other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not authorise service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes except as allowed by their contract and law.
ComfyLearn and its service providers may process information in Nigeria and other countries. Where a transfer is subject to Nigeria’s NDPA, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, or another applicable transfer regime, the transfer must use a permitted transfer basis and safeguards. Contact us for further information about relevant recipient categories and safeguards.
We retain information for the period reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including course delivery, account administration, safety, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to be informed, access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; withdraw consent; and challenge certain automated decisions. Send a request to support@comfylearnhub.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your request and will respond within the applicable legal time limit.
People in Nigeria may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. People in the UK or EEA may complain to their relevant supervisory authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where applicable.
The Services are not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorisation, contact us so we can review the matter. Additional age, guardian-authorisation, and child-data rules may apply depending on location and feature.
We use essential technologies to keep the site secure and functional and may use other technologies for preferences, performance, or analytics. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential technologies, we will request it and provide a way to change the choice.
We may update this notice when our Services or legal obligations change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice for material changes where required.
